4 is the development of the actual
website in the graphic design
that is made for the website (corporate website identity and logo).
The
basic principle with this development
is that the website must be functional,
must load fast, must be users friendly
for the visitors and en have to
meet all the accessibility standards
so the site will work well in
all browsers.
Too
many times you see design companies
who develop a site that is dependent
of one particular browser-specific
technology so that the site for
example will only work well in Internet
Explorer. Many times this is reasoned
away with the argument that the
main part of the internet users
are using IE - Myrmex thinks that
is a strange and absurd argument.
Why should you show to 10% of your
visitors a strange, bad website
if it also can be done well? |
