For
the Open University we made a series of 8 animations
that were used in 2005 in a scientific experiment
for the Open University. The purpose of this was
that students look at the animation and give reaction
on certain times in the animation on the text in
it. This way the University can research how people
react on the text that is displayed in a animation.
We
have drawn an animated all the storyboards of the
O.U., and we put in all the right texts. The timeline
that the O.U. gave had to be exactly followed. After
this the animations had to get action scripts, so
the students could react on the animations with
an interface.
This
kind of animations appeals to students and we get
regular requests from the government and schools
to animate certain lesson or education programs.
